Lorensen Auto Group Launches Make-A-Wish® Connecticut Partnership During World Wish Month

Community invited to welcome home local Wish Kid on April 11 at Westbrook Honda

Westbrook, CT (April 2026) — Lorensen Auto Group is proud to announce a new partnership with Make-A-Wish® Connecticut in celebration of World Wish Month, as the organization also marks 40 years of granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses

To commemorate both the partnership and this important milestone, Westbrook Honda will host a special Welcome Home Event on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11:00am at its dealership located at One Flat Rock Place in Westbrook. The celebration will honor local wish recipient Jude, who is returning home from a memorable trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort.

The event will bring the community together to celebrate Jude’s journey, with a festive atmosphere featuring a pizza truck, check presentation, and the opportunity to meet representatives from Make-A-Wish® Connecticut, as well as Jude’s family.

As part of the partnership, Lorensen Auto Group has pledged to donate a portion of net profits to Make-A-Wish® Connecticut, helping continue the organization’s 40-year legacy of granting wishes that bring hope, strength, and joy to children and their families. The first donation will be presented during the April 11 Welcome Home Event.
