What Features Come with AcuraWatch™?

AcuraWatch™ offers the following features to keep you and your passengers safe:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Low Speed Follow – Unlike basic cruise control systems, this one monitors the position of the vehicle in front of you. When that vehicle slows down, your brakes are automatically engaged to maintain a safe driving distance. It will even bring your vehicle to a full stop if necessary. Not only does this improve safety, but it also makes cruise control a lot more convenient and helpful.
  • Lane Keeping Assist System – This system will monitor the position of your vehicle in relation to the lane markers. If you begin to drift to either side without indicating your intention to turn, the lane keeping assist system will subtly correct the orientation of the vehicle even when you are going around curves.
  • Road Departure Mitigation – Some of the most catastrophic accidents happened when the vehicle leaves the road. This system monitors if and when a vehicle is in danger of leaving the road and then sounds a warning, corrects the steering, and applies the brakes if necessary.
  • Collision Mitigation Braking System with Head-Up Warning – Advanced sensors can detect when the threat of a collision with the vehicle in front of you is likely, and will then automatically apply the brakes if you do not respond in time. This feature can be upgraded to automatically tighten the seat-belt to help minimize the consequences of a collision.
